The Rotary Club of Orchard Park is announcing a program to award five (5) grants of up to $5,000.00 each to recognized community service organizations. There is a limit of one grant per organization.
The goal of the grants is to enhance the quality of life in Orchard Park, NY. Specifically, the project must be legal, non-political, and non-religious. The project’s objective should align with the mission of The Rotary International Foundation, “… to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty.” Identify a need within our community and consider a way to address that need. Develop and submit a project proposal. Help us help the community!
To be considered for funding, a grant project proposal must be submitted. The “Rotary Club Community Service Grant Application” details and directions can be found on the Club’s web page at https://orchardparkrotary.com.
The Club intends to award 50% of funds with project approval. The balance to be paid upon project completion and presentation of a final report.
It is intended that the projects will be completed in a timely fashion; hopefully with a final report presented within 12 months of approval.
Grant proposals will be reviewed as they are received by The “Rotary Club of Orchard Park Grant Review Committee.” Proposers of grants may be requested to meet with Club members to ensure and verify information provided.
The completed grant proposal can be either emailed to oprotary.4749@gmail.com or via USPS to Rotary Club of Orchard Park, P.O. Box 29, Orchard Park 14127.
